v5.21b (Jul 26, 2017):
- Bug fix update for the Windows versions, primarily fixing an issue with Platinum's Plugin Hosting
- This is a 64-bit only version of Drumagog 5 and requires Windows 7 or newer. Users of older 32-bit DAWs and operating systems should continue using the previous 5.21 version.
- Important note: an ilok.com user account is now required for all activations of 5.21b, even though a USB iLok is still not required. Due to updates in PACE's activation system, license files have been replaced by machine-based authorizations (via the iLok License Manager). This applies to 5.21b and later updates; older versions of Drumagog 5 still support license files.

- Bleed Reduction allows Drumagog 5 to eliminate other drums from bleeding into a track and adding unwanted triggering. Simply set up Drumagog on each affected track and it will automatically remove the bleed.

Drumagog 5 introduced:
- Auto-Align 2.0 – a collaboration between WaveMachine Labs and Fraunhofer (inventors of the MP3 format) resulting in a new alignment algorithm
- Direct Plugin Hosting – play any virtual instrument from within Drumagog. Plugins like BFD2, Kontakt and Superior Drummer are inserted directly into Drumagog to allow a virtually unlimited sample palette (Platinum version only).
- Redesigned graphic interface – streamlined control and easier sample editing
- Support for multiple room samples – the Gog format allows for different room sounds and mics. Simply dial in the amount of room desired.
- Auto Hi-Hat Tracking – automatically detects the hi-hat pedal position (open or closed) in real time
