Restore I Pad
Hi there
I'm having issues with my Air 2 and I went online with Apple. They want me to do a restore. If I do a restore, will I retain all my wav files and my songs or do I have to move them?
Thank you and sorry if this has been asked before.

Re: Restore I Pad
Hey Steve,
You should always back your files up for sure.
Even if you didn't need to it's always best to do so before any major changes, such as a restore.
This is My way of doing things. I don't use iTunes! But I need to know my eggs are still safe!
Added: Best way would be ifunbox.

Re: Restore I Pad
I would back up all my music app stuff manually using iTunes or ifunbox then do a full back up using iTunes.
If you're restoring from backup, everything should reload. If something goes wrong, you could lose your work.
I did a restore from backup when I loaded up my Air 2, and all my files were there. I did have to restore some purchases from the Auria store, though.
Good luck. Let us know how you make out.

Ok
I'm just going to restore, if it worked for you it will work for me. If not? I'll just do them over again, I have the time.
Thank you

Re: Restore I Pad
I chickened out.
I looked for ifunbox in the app store but found noting. Any other apps that would do this?

Steve- iFunbox is only available for a Mac or pc. There was some discussion about it not workingSteve White wrote:I chickened out.

properly with iOS 8 so I'm not sure if it still works but with it you can drag files back and forth between
a computer and Auria or audio share or whatever. I don't have a computer anymore but I used it with
a friend's Mac a few times and it worked very well. Best wishes for success

here is some discussion seems like they fixed it

Chicken-ing out (in this case) doesn't make you less brave, hehe.
If you have a way of making yourself more secure, why not take it..

Did the IFunBox, love it! I have everything moved and for free. It's a really great program. Thanks to JP and King for the suggestion.
