Re: Major Auria Announcement
I do second that on the look a little though; I really like the current look and feel. Very attractive to me - as someone who thinks hardware . (Not saying I couldn't or won't get used to the new one - I'm sure I could, just have a preference is all).
Was unclear on your followup about the GUI whether it's just the color scheme that one will be able to return to and not the more skeuomorphic look and feel.
So, to ask, Rim - will we be able to make it look like current Auria does, or will it have the less skeuomorphic look, but with the ability to change the color scheme to be more like it is currently.

Prefer the new look in every way but I am kind of find of the skeuomorphic channel strip.
One feature missing from every midi sequencer on iOS (other than Cubasis) that I'm hoping to see in Auria Pro: MIDI Channel and MIDI port available per channel. My ipad has more than one MIDI output hooked up to it to connect to hardware. Some of that hardware is multitimbral and some if it lacks thru ports so... multiple MIDI ports it is.

If you liked working in the old GUI, the new GUI isn't really much different - the basic layout and "feel" of everything is the same. It'll have the same soul with a fresh new look

Auria Pro will allow you to choose a port and channel for each track.

I wish I could hibernate and wake up in the spring ready to play with Auria Pro.
Re: Major Auria Announcement
Hello Rim! Great news! I will wait spring and now I can delete other DAWs. I have a question. Will convolution reverb have filters (HPF & LPF)? or will AUX channels have more than one effect?
Re: Major Auria Announcement
The convolution reverb is remaining the same for now, but you'll be able to bus the aux returns into a channel now, allowing you to insert as many effects as you want.

Maybe I've lost some threads but there will be a midi learn function so I can assign to a midi controller?

No midi learn function in the feature list right now, but a good idea for a future update.

So will I be able to control software synths on a mac/pc?

Hi Rim,
Is there, or is there any possibility of, a "restrict piano roll to a scale" function? So you only see notes in the scale you are working in available on the piano roll when you have this selected.
I find this extremely useful in Gadget (and I believe Ableton has this too).
Looks like it's going to be a great new product. Congratulations.

Love everything I'm hearing so far.
Will there be a built in drum synth controlable by MIDI at some stage?
