Pro-C vs Channelstrip

Is the difference between the Channelstrip Compressor and Pro-C worth the $30?

I think so, the psp compressor tends to pump and distort a lot quicker than the pro-c does, and it's a lot less flexible overall. The psp isn't bad, but if you use compressors a lot, $30 for something like Pro-C is a steal IMO.

Yep, worth it. The sound quality is definitely an upgrade, as the channel strip compressor is too agressive for my taste, even at subtle settings. The pro-c was the first thing i felt i needed to purchase, if that means anything.

Pro c lets you do side chain compression which is worth it alone for me. It also just sounds better and has a great display that really shows you what the compression is doing to the audio. Worth more than the $30

Thanks everyone, I purchased it. Still getting to know my way around it, but really seems to have been worth the investment.
