Hi there! I am pretty new to this forum and have a question to the Auria Experts.
I have a new iPad (3) and my band owns a
Phonic Helix Board Firewire MKII - Mixing Table
On our last recording session we used the Phonic Helix Board Firewire MKII + MacBook Pro with Garageband - connected via Firewire 400
Now as we have seen Auria and own an iPad, we want to use Auria but we are not sure
what additional hardware we need to buy. I read about a compatible USB Class 2 audio interface and Camera Connection Kit.
Our Phonic Helix Board Firewire MKII has a Firewire 400 Input - is there any adapter from USB 2.0 to Firewire 400 which is recommended for recording?
Or any other more simple possibilities?
Thanks for your answers!
Best greets , Juergen

Re: Phonic Helix Board Firewire MKII
And why? What's the problem?
The Phonic? The Firewire?
The Phonic? The Firewire?
Re: Phonic Helix Board Firewire MKII
Yes and yes. Firewire and usb are not in any way compatible. They are two totally different formats.
