Re: Yesper - Bigger Animals
Ah sweet - fair enough then - makes sense. I'd suggest tweaking the settings on the compressor a bit then to make it a bit 'easier' / less attack, and also maybe use a limiter after hosting the volume. The stock limiter on the master channel strip in Auria is good enough for loud mixes, I've found. ...

Re: m4a import problem
OK. Thanks.
Is there any way to convert an m4a file from the Voice Memos app to a wav or Auria readable format that doesn't involve a computer…asking a lot there…!

Re: m4a import problem
BUMP Was this ever fixed? I'm trying to import voice memos I've uploaded to Dropbox from my phone, but to no avail. The file downloads, changes samples rate, but then nothing - I'm left with blank space. If I ask the import to create a track, a track gets created with the name of the m4a file, but t...

Re: Yesper - Bigger Animals
"I was under the impression we were gonna pull through, you were underneath another dude" :o Really like the vibe you've got going on here. Song writing and performance style is great - very, very listenable. The overall sound of the drums (for your first time!) is great for the kind of mu...

Re: Loop while punching in (audio)
Can somebody explain the benefit of this to me? Is it really much easier than setting a locator mark and stopping and returning to that on a fluff / if you want to re-record?

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
How can I get my recordings on disc or in a format that's easy to share? You can output straight to M4A by selecting Menu > Mixdown. You'll have options to output a locator range or the full song (from the start of the first recording to the end of the last). For what you want to do, you should sel...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
How do I boost the gain on mix down so when I replay from a downloaded DropBox M4A file I get a decent output? When I replay in the car, the tunes are barely louder than the car noise. Thanks. You probably want to do some basic 'mastering' on the output channel. Usually this would involve EQ, Compr...

Re: Exporting individual tracks from project
Thanks Rim. I assumed this function didn't exist because I'd looked! Should have known you'd built it in!
I'll give it a whirl.

Exporting individual tracks from project
Hi all I'm hoping you can help with something. Situation: lots of songs have been recorded on one track - single mic put up in practise room and left to run. The audio has been trimmed and each song is now on its own track (16 of them). I want to be able to get each song out of Auria in a compressed...

Re: MIDI issue related to Convolution Reverb?
Thanks Rim!
Done - I sent it before typing a message on there - it's called King Kong for reference.
Edit: I've also added a short video to show the problem. Hope it helps. (In the video I'm adding the verb to a track that doesn't have notes playing at that time.)

Re: MIDI issue related to Convolution Reverb?
No, nothing moved or changed. It's literally as soon as the plugin is loaded - no knobs changed at all. I've just don't a bit of experimenting. It only seems that the first two tracks MIDI tracks are affected (kick and snare), but it happens when the Conv Verb is put on any track (including audio tr...

Re: MIDI issue related to Convolution Reverb?
Running the most up to date version.
This is all on playback. The MIDI track is already 'recorded'. Does mschenkel's answer still apply?

MIDI issue related to Convolution Reverb?
Hi - I'm not sure if this is a bug or whether I'm doing something wrong... I've got a few MIDI tracks in a project - some individual drum tracks; kick, snare, hats, etc, as well as other instrumental MIDI tracks. When I put effects on the tracks all is fine EXCEPT when I try to use Convolution Rever...
