I just figured out what it was. Flux Pro auv by Caelum Audio (as an insert) is causing this. Remove it and it goes back to normal.

Hi All, I’m a new user of Auria Pro having recently bought it and running it on my 12.9 iPad Pro 2020. In my current little test project, the transport play button has a 7 second delay on it.
