Crossfades

Post by Casual recorder » Tue Jan 10, 2023 1:52 pm

Hi there!
I'm new here. I've just purchased my copy of Auria Pro a few days ago and I'm totally happy with it.
I'm a profesional musician, not a sound engineer and occasionally I do some recording and editing, classical music only.
My main DAW in Samplitude which I use on a desktop PC and on a Surface Pro. I wanted to have the possibility to record with my iPad Pro as well so I got here with Auria Pro which has AAF import/export, something very important for me.
Now to the main question:
I've made a few test with Auria Pro and I would like to ask the developers to consider a feature that many DAWs have (Reaper, Samplitude) which is to create automatic crossfades while overlapping the objects. The way it works now is, overlap the objects, select them and apply the "Xfade", but the other way is better because the carossfade appears in real time and it's much faster to edit, specially on classical music.
This is just an idea and I hope it is not redundant.
Any feedback will be very appreciated.
Happy to be on board!
Cheers!
