Timeline tap mutes incoming iaa
Timeline tap mutes incoming iaa
Tapping on the timeline and an iaa instrument loaded (note hold) is muting the incoming signal. Why is this, please, ?
Re: Timeline tap mutes incoming iaa
Your question is a little unclear. Can you give us some more detail?
It sounds like you are saying that tapping on the timeline while the transport is going cuts off a note that is sustaining?
Is this while playing or in record?

Well, actually simply by loading an iaa synth, letting it play in bkgrnd, and touching on the timeline is muting the sound, while holding. thanks:)
Not that it doesn't feel natural that way, I'm only wondering how to evaluate the usefulness of it. Independent of rec on /or playing. Not while recording, (i should've written it before, sorry;)

Are you touching the timeline with 2 fingers? That's how scrubbing works.

Re: Timeline tap mutes incoming iaa
@martygras: I've just tried this and @krzycrs is correct. [A single] Tap&hold on the timeline pauses (not just mutes) the incoming IAA audio stream of an armed track. I'm investigating further but it's certainly seems odd - I can't decide if it makes logical sense or not, i.e. Is it a good or bad thing?
