ADSR/Transient Designer Plug In?
ADSR/Transient Designer Plug In?
Any chance for making something like this available?
For anyone who's curious, it basically let's you modulate the ADSR curve of any given sound.
I know that the Fabfilter Plug Ins have an ADSR Enveloper, but i haven't quite figured it out whether it can do what i want

take a look on youtube:

fabfilter have some real in depth videos on the uses of the plugin.

Wow, thank you. There's exactly the one that i'm looking for, plus many many moremtingle wrote:take a look on youtube:

Re: ADSR/Transient Designer Plug In?
I get incredible joy out of how powerful the fabfilter plug ins are. Truly amazing.
Re: ADSR/Transient Designer Plug In?
yes saturn seems to do so much. there's even a tutorial on how to turn it into a transient designer in there somewhere.
Re: ADSR/Transient Designer Plug In?
Mtingle, are u litterally saying that Saturn can be used to emulate the
actual Transient Designer plugin (the one im used to from protools, for example)?
that i would have to have...
thanx

It's not as easy, but it does the job, i guess.trupro wrote:Mtingle, are u litterally saying that Saturn can be used to emulate the

yes that's the vid i had in mind, worked pretty well to my ears. The guy explaining it is very good.Geronimo wrote:It's not as easy, but it does the job, i guess.trupro wrote:Mtingle, are u litterally saying that Saturn can be used to emulate the

Re: ADSR/Transient Designer Plug In?
I just don't know what exactly the Envelope Follower triggers. I've looked it up in the help pdf, but it's not saying anything about it there. Does it just start over and over after each release?
Re: ADSR/Transient Designer Plug In?
Thats a great tip and sold me on saturn now.
I was hoping for a transient designer as well. But even better, after reading a bit more about saturn now (i was really not that interested in a distortion plugin first)it turned out i can even use it as a realtime analyzer with Multiband EQ/compression/gate/expander.Besides all the distortion, modulation capabilities and ease of use
i'm stunned

Re: ADSR/Transient Designer Plug In?
I know. I was thinking eeh I don't need another distortion effect. But looked at some vids on FabFilters YouTube channel, and it sold me. This thing is a lot more then a dist unit. I use it on almost everything, although this one is really CPU hungry so iPad 2 is def minimum requirements (for anyone on iPad 1 thinking about getting it).CEIsar wrote:Thats a great tip and sold me on saturn now.

Re: ADSR/Transient Designer Plug In?
after playing arround the first 5 minutes i would like to add"flanger"to the list
And up to six for selected frequencies is simply awesome.I'm messing arround with different flanger (each with own modulation sources) on one drumloop now.I mean,i don't need this overkill but it's a hell lot of fun
And even those small things like panning for each band.Easy to overlook but very effective.

How do you "flange" with Saturn?CEIsar wrote:after playing arround the first 5 minutes i would like to add"flanger"to the list

Re: ADSR/Transient Designer Plug In?
just turn the feedback knob way up and add a modulation source (LFO for typical flange efecct) to the frequency knob (right side from the feedback knob).

Will try that tomorrow, thx.CEIsar wrote:just turn the feedback knob way up and add a modulation source (LFO for typical flange efecct) to the frequency knob (right side from the feedback knob).
