First edition apogee jam

Post by jrech » Tue Jan 30, 2018 6:59 pm

Does any one know if the first apogee jam will work with Auria Pro? Apogee tech department said it will work with a lightning bolt cable. The picture they have has it connected to an iPad with the 30 pin cable. I want to make sure it will work with Auria Pro before I get it. I can get it for a good price. It will be an interesting way to record the guitar and bass with a vox amplug.

I've the 1st edition apogee jam (30 pin) and it used to work with Auria, and then Apple updates the iOS and it doesn't. Then a new iOS comes out and it works again. Then the opposite. and so it goes on...

Currently not working with Auria 1.25 and iOS 11. But I expect it'll work again at some point.

Better to get a newer version of Jam IMO.

I have the original with an Apple 30 pin to lightening adapter. Never given me any trouble, and still going strong after 6 or 7 years. iPad Air 2, latest iOS. Recorded an album with it.
