Any idea of the timeframe on this Rim? I’m dead in the water here until it happens.
iOS11
Re: iOS11
The problem is that I have a piece of music where the latest backup is not as current as I would like it to be. I’ve also compiled quite a few sound fonts into the Lyra presets list. I guess I could back up everything with iFunbox, delete Auria, reinstall Auria, then copy everything back with iFunbox. I was just trying to avoid this if possible.
Is there some sort of INI file that can be deleted instead with iFunbox? Maybe in the future a delete INI function could be built into the settings page to reset back to a blank project in cases like this where Auria has just completely crashed and can’t be restarted normally.

Re: iOS11
Unfortunately Auria stores its settings directly in iOS (using their integrated settings system), so there's no file that can be deleted. Only a reinstall clears the settings.
@rickwaugh, yes I added iOS11 Files support in the next update, so you'll see all of Auria's files appear inside the Files app.

AAhhhh! I tried backing up with iFunbox. It looked like it was backing up but I guess no files were ever copied. When I went to copy the files back to the Auria directory, My backup subdirectories was empty!
Auria is reinstalled and my purchases restored, but I’ve lost quite a bit of work since my last Dropbox backup: maybe two weeks worth.
Anyone who hasn’t upgraded to IOS 11 yet: backup any projects to Dropbox before you do! That or wait until the next Auria update.
I am just so frustrated! I had a project almost finished and I have lost so much of it.

Re: iOS11
Great news! Specially Files.app support!
Re: iOS11
At this point, unless there is some new feature in iOS 11 that you have to have, I would think from a music perspective there likely isn’t any reason to update right away. Saying that, it seems to be working just fine on my machine.
However, when Auria Files support arrives shortly, that will be something of a game-changer for many of us. (You’ll be able to interact directly with your Auria files from other apps... Huzzah!)
If you are working on any in-progress songs that are important to you, I would follow the universal advice of backing up, backing up, backing up before updating. I would even suggest exporting the song to stems as a true ‘DAW-safe’ safeguard. (This is true for any DAW on any platform before big upgrades).

Re: iOS11
The “Pro” in Auria Pro is misleading. Pro doesn’t stand for professional as one would assume it stands for PROMISE. (Okay admittedly that may be a bit harsh but I’m a little emotional as I write this post... Promise, is what this app has, it’s easily the most advanced mobile DAW on the App Store IMHO. Too bad I just got stuck in a force close loop no matter how many times I rebooted my iPad or restarted the program. I had to delete my install and re-download just now. SOOOO disappointing, I understand I should have had some kind of backups but well being a mobile pro doesn’t always lead to good data MGMT habits. I lost hours upon hours of projects just now... Running Auria Pro on a 2017 iPad Pro 12.9” iOS 11.0.1 w/189GB free space.
Please update Auria Pro to prevent this bug from repeating itself ASAP,,,, please.

Hi,
I saw your review as well. Please remember that I am a single developer, and am doing the best I can. I've fixed all the iOS11 issues last week and it's currently being reviewed by Apple. I'm hoping it'll be approved in the next few days.
