Can you be specific as to what you see as 'broken' with Auria Pro under iOS 11 beta 5?
Not the one who reported it but the splash screen appears but immediately drops the user back to the home screen instead of the app. Bringing up the app switcher shows a "ghost image" of Auria Pro running, but when you select it, you drop back to the home screen again. You can force-quit the app from the switcher but it makes no difference if you try again. Quitting all apps and restarting the device makes no difference either.

For what it's worth, I have filed a bug report with Apple.

With the release of public beta 4 today we see that Auria is no longer loading past the splash screen. We are looking into the issue.

Hi, it simply loads the splash screen then goes back to the springboard.

In your device, go to Settings -> General and scroll down to Version. Unless you're seeing 11.0(15A5341f) you're not on the version causing grief.

Corey, that is the version that I am on, and I am on ver 2.11 of Auria Pro. One thing of note, these are all the latest 3 models of iPad, if that could be a variable? I did notice this time that the updates for pb4 were of different sizes for different iPads.

I can confirm the new iPad Pro 10.5 is not getting past the splash screen with iOS 11 latest beta.

I only updated because I get a hissing sound when using Auria for longer than about 10 mins. Unplugging the headphones and plugging them back in again clears it up but, boy was it getting tedious. My old iPad Pro 12.9 worked perfectly.

Any one else getting a hissing sound? I find it hard to believe I have a faulty iPad.

Known bug, mtingle! All new iPad Pros affected. I suppose Apple is working on it - the release date looms.

Did you mean the hiss on the headphone output is a known issue for the iPad Pro 10.5 or that Auria doesn't work with iOS 11?

Not just new iPad Pros. Mine is a 2016 12.9" model and the current Developer Beta borked Auria Pro. As noted earlier, I've reported the bug to Apple.

Hi,

I read that iOS 11 will have native screen recorder functionality.
Does anyone know if that is usable together with Auria?

i.e. can I record the Auria screen while audio is being recorded and played as a way of making instruction videos etc?
(I am on Windows so I can not screen record from a mac, hence the interest in this)

Well it is a step in the right direction but if you load an IAA plugin or a AU3 -lugin the audio stops but the video continues. The nice part is that it no longer kicks you out the main left and right and allows for using a multichannel audio interface unlike Airplay which only works as output 1/2. There looks like there will be work for them to do but I imagine it will eventually work well as there will likely be some apps deticated just to this feature like desktop screen capturing software.

Today's developer beta (15A5354b) does not fix this issue (splash screen then crash) on my 2016 12.9" iPad Pro. Alas.
