Exporting a project into MP4 format
Exporting a project into MP4 format
Hello, I tried following the user manual on exporting a project into iTunes and it brings it into the folder with multiple tracks and plays them separately. Is there a way to convert the entire project into an MP4 so it’s plays it as a complete song? Any detailed help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you just need to use the "mixdown" function. Go to the menu, select Mixdown, then choose MP4 as the file type. Make sure you don't have any channels solo'd or muted before you start, and that all your levels are where you want them. After it's done, your MP4 will be in the main Documents folder.

Thanks, the closest thing I see to MP4 is M4A, is that the same?
Re: Exporting a project into MP4 format
also is the project folder the same as the document folder? How do I get to the document folder? you have been a great help, I have been trying for months to get projects converted and out of Auria so they play in windows media. thanks again!

Yes, M4a is a subset of MP4. It's the "audio only" version of MP4. In fact, you can rename an M4a file to MP4 and it'll play in most video players (as audio only).
The Documents folder is the main folder (the root folder).

You have been a great help!
I have another question, is there somewhere in a project I can indicate the Artist name? I see where you can name and rename the project but can't locate anywhere to indicate the artist. Thanks for all your help, Bruce

No, Auria doesn't have a "notes" section, but it's something on my list for a future improvement.
