m4a import problem
M4a files are not decompressing when importing from Dropbox.
Re: m4a import problem
Thanks, I've added this to my list to investigate.

The latest drop box update seems to have fixed this problem

Good to know.

Re: m4a import problem
I did the Dec.15th Dropbox update but it didn't solve the m4a problem for me.
Re: m4a import problem
M4A files are not importing regardless of the app in which they were generated. Files that had imported successfully as recently as a month ago no longer import. WAV files still import. I was using v2 - upgrade to v2.02 didn't change anything. Running on IOS9.2
Re: m4a import problem
I haven't gotten to this issue yet, as I'm still working my way through all the critical fixes. Still on my list to look at through! Hopefully 2.04 or 2.05

Re: m4a import problem
When I saw Blivens post I tried to import from Dropbox into the current(at that time) Auria pro andBliven wrote:M4a files are not decompressing when importing from Dropbox.
as described the files would seem to download but not convert. I tried again after the dbox update and
found it was working again. I tried just now and it's working on my air2 ios 8.4 with Auria pro2.02
Until it gets fixed Audioshare provides a not too tedious work around. Another mystery in the
labyrinth of ios

BUMP
Was this ever fixed? I'm trying to import voice memos I've uploaded to Dropbox from my phone, but to no avail.
The file downloads, changes samples rate, but then nothing - I'm left with blank space. If I ask the import to create a track, a track gets created with the name of the m4a file, but there's nothing there.
Thanks…
e: most recent version of Auria Pro and most recent version of Dropbox on iPad Pro.
e2: I can see that the import has 'worked' as if I go into the local file structure and navigate to the project's folder, I can see the m4a file in there…but I can't import it from there either.

Re: m4a import problem
I am currently having the same problem. Files generated in auria will not load in the program either.
Re: m4a import problem
I believe M4a files are still somewhat broken in Auria. Still buried on my list somewhere... In the mean time, I suggest using WAV or AIF.

Re: m4a import problem
OK. Thanks.
Is there any way to convert an m4a file from the Voice Memos app to a wav or Auria readable format that doesn't involve a computer…asking a lot there…!

Re: m4a import problem
Yes, there's an app called AudioShare that should be able to do it. AudioShare also imports directly into Auria.
