FabFilter plug-in sale

Post by Rim » Tue Dec 15, 2015 1:49 pm

FabFilter just announced a 25% off holiday sale on all their plugins, and all the Auria versions are now included. We're in the process of switching over the prices now, so it'll take a little while for everything to propagate. If you don't see the new sale prices, please wait until they appear before making your purchase. The sale starts today and ends Jan 1st.

Be careful for now. The Auria store shows Pro C2 upgrade and $14.99 but when you tap to buy, it reverts back to $19.99. The other FF plugins I checked seem correct though.

This is unfortunately due to the way the prices propagate through the Apple servers. I would give it some time to make sure the prices are all changed in your area.

Will the upgrades to C2 and Q2 be available indefinitely, or is there a window of opportunity? If indefinitely, will their pieces go up 25%? Thanks!

I bought the 2 updates, they show up in the fx list but in the Auria store it does not show installed, still showing 14.99. Is this normal?

As far as I know, FabFilter plans on offering these upgrades indefinitely. But all pricing is up to them of course.

Is there a discount for new users?

How much is the Pro-Q2 in the sale?

All the FabFilter plugins are on sale. The sale price for Pro-Q2 is $22.99 USD.

How about the plugins from Sugarbytes ? They are on sale in the Apple store, but the IAP price in Auria is still unchanged ?
Will these plugins also be discounted in Auria ?
Will it make a difference in use when purchased in or outside Auria ?

Thanks.

Plug-ins are all made by independent third party developers. So it's up to each one to determine the prices. FabFilter is the only company who let us know to put their plugins on sale.

If you buy the standalone Sugabytes apps, the versions inside Auria will unlock for free.

I'm still not quite sure what Turnado does, or Wow. I seem to have a fair bit of sound mangling available to me already, through Volcano, Timeless and Saturn. Anything in particular that stands out with these?
