Alchemy Update!

Post by Remnant60 » Fri May 29, 2015 5:32 pm

"Now previous in-app purchases can be downloaded as expected"

I bought almost every library they had, and never 'killed' any, so when
Alchemy went under I had all of my sounds, but the artwork for the folders
disappeared.
With the update, the artwork is back, so maybe somebody who 'shelved' some
of their libraries and couldn't get them back, Can now...

It would be interested to see the direction Apple is going to take with Alchemy, just for the fact that the song packs are available is very promising.

I'm wondering if the ability to restore previous Alchemy IAPs will be removed after July 7th 2015. This is what Camel Audio's website says about downloads for their desktop products:
CamelAudio.com wrote:Camel Audio's plug-ins, Alchemy Mobile IAPs and sound libraries are no longer available for purchase. We will continue to provide downloads of your previous purchases and email support until July 7, 2015. We recommend you download all of your purchases and back them up so that you can continue to use them.
Bearing in mind how much disk space Alchemy's sound libraries occupy, I'd not wish to have all the libraries that I purchased installed all the time. Has anyone any idea how to install/uninstall individual libraries from backup storage if the ability to restore purchases is removed again? :|

I may be crazy and just not remember purchasing them all but I just downloaded all sound banks for free.
2.5 GB listed for the program now.
