Do any effects such as delay sync with time/BPM?

Post by gjcyrus » Thu Feb 19, 2015 1:02 am

Hello all,

Been awhile since I last posted. Just wanted to find out if there were any effects or, if in fact ALL effects, purchased through Auria store sync up in time with Auria? For example, if I have a tempo of 120 bpm, will the delays sync up to that?

Thanks in advance!

Yes there are echo and delay FX from both PsP and the big Fab. The other FX are not related to bpm but things ocurring over time. As bpm is also something done over time in this case minutes. These types of FX are the most common and most used. So Ms. and sec. are the measurement of these units. So yes you can set PsP's Echo to match bpm as well as Timless by Fabfilter. There really are very few FX that need to be synced to bpm other than delays. You can do the math and find how many sec or ms are in your bpm to get a close match to be a ratio of your bpm. @120bpm divided by 60 sec in a minute = 2sec per beat in time. Divided by 4 to repesent a quarter beat =.5 of a sec or 500 milliseconds. Continue to divide the 2 by 8,16,32,64,128,to get 1/8 1/16 1/32 1/64 1/128 which translates in time as 250ms 125ms 62.5ms 31.25ms 15.625ms ect. Cheers and I hoped that helped.
