presonus vsl1818 problems

Good day all heres my question.....i recently aquired a presonus vsl1818 i powered it up and could not get any sound out of it i hooked my monitors to the main outs and nothing...after about an hour of messing with it i closed auria and opened itunes and o.m.g. it worked! The output was working with my studio monitors so i closed the app and reopened auria and wjat do you know it worked as well so not sure what i did but for now its working ....now my headphone output is a different story....ive tried hooking a set of headphones directly to it and nothing....even routed it to a headphone splitter and nothing....even tho im getting sound from my monitors i cant seem to get anything out of the headphone jack....please help

From what I remember off the top of my head, you have to go into the output matrix and set the main out as 7 and 8...I'd have to double check to be ultimately sure but this should be close to right.

Ok cool i will have to try that...do you know if the phones volume knob will work with the outs at 7 and 8?

No, just the main output knob. That's how you'll control the volume of what you hear.
