Are there any new drum loop apps for metal?

I don't know about apps for metal, nor do I even know specific metal sound packs (not my thing) but you would probably be best off just buying a good sample loop pack and then just import the audio files into Auria directly.

Hi all, I got all the session band apps, great fun to jam over shit I can't play myself, oh, if you mix the acoustic guitar in a whole song you can barely pick the gap

You may also want to checkout DrumJam. It's looped based, but it allows for more unique variations. It also has a great drum pad for fills etc. Might be worth a look.

No, but check the App Store description of SessionBand Rock - Volume 1:
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/session ... 78289?mt=8

or the dev's website:
http://www.sessionbandapp.com/SessionBand_Rock.html

(It's amazing what a tiny bit of searching reveals! )

Sorry, sessionband rock is what I meant, tons of metal drums in it.

Definitely drum jam! I just discovered it this morning, and it uses multisampling to achieve different velocities, but only one sample per velocity. Still, So. Very. Awesome. I can play drum jam per part and record the midi notes in cubase until i have a proper grove, export each separate track into auria and mix to my heart's content.

Lots of info on the guy's pack here.

If you don't have Reason that's ok. He has also provided the kits for use in any DAW - MIDI, audio, fills. It may take some work to separate them out to individual subtracks but it can be done I'm sure. You've got thrash, punk, solid groove, rock and more to play with. I'm just looking into it now but so far so good.

My advice - separate the MIDI out to kit components on the loops you want to use and run it through Drumagog.
