iPad Air iousbhubdevice power problem

Post by Jcyrus » Tue Dec 17, 2013 6:33 pm

So I have a Zoom h4n, which I've seen on the foums is compatible with Auria. But whenever I plug it into my iPad Air it displays the following message, CANNOT USE DEVICE: the IOUSBHubDevice requires too much power. Has anybody else gotten the Zoom h4n or really ANY interfaces to work with the new iPad and if so what was the solution?

Yep, a lot of external devices require some power to run under iOS devices so we use powered usb hubs. Most models work, but Belikin makes better quality hubs that tend to work with more gear. We also use Apple's "Camera Connection Kit" as a connection between the hub and the iPad.

Do a search for "Zoom" and read some posts that are specific to the Zoom.
