Record into Auria when in background?

Hello,

I would like to play some guitar along to a SessionBand Acoustic track. I prepped a track in Auria with some reverb to augment my guitar. When Auria is in the foreground, I can hear the effect on my guitar, and SessionBand plays in the background. However, when I switch to SessionBand (to follow the chord changes) I no longer hear the Auria-based FX.

Can Auria process / record audio from the iPad microphone or an interface when it is not the foreground app?
