Hope you enjoy, feel free to critique, but not too aggressively!!

This track shows how you can imerse yourself in great simplicity. The track is very modern and defines itself. Not a copy but a true original. Great job.
Thanks for the kind words Anthony, are you working on anything we might get to listen to?

Thanks again Anthony, glad to hear you'll be playing 'fade to grey', please let me know how it goes down.

Here's my latest Deep House track, created in Nanostudio, mixed and mastered in Auria.

Enjoy!

Thanks!
Loved the track. Great guitar tone. Did you use plugins for the guitar? Wish it was longer. Cheers.
Thanks again Anthony for the complements! Being I'm a guitar player at heart and a complete tone goob is gratifying to hear someone complement the guitar tone. As for the tracks, just MoReVox drums, guitar and bass direct (thru the headphone irig jack interface,, I need to get a decent usb/firewire interface, just haven't yet). I did the acoustic with an SM57 for crying out loud.. had to eq the crap out of it to get a useable sound. I did the tremolo guitar with a effect on a Line6 POD external to the ipad. I did the lead just clean with some compression on the Line6, then used some stock delay within Auria to get the repeats, think I comp'd it a little more within Auria as well to keep it even. Bass direct in with some comp from the Line6 as well. Yeah, a friend of mine wanted it to be a lot longer as well, but here lately just trying to get the basics down and figure out how to get something that sounds decent. This is literally my 3rd or 4th track produced in Auria, which happens to be the most activity I've taken up in recording in a long long time. Its definitely got me rejuvenated into working more!

I've just been wanting to share what I've been working on. Still got a bunch more to come in a wide range of styles for the album at the end of the month, but here's a funky soulful single. IT'S FREE TO DOWNLOAD BTW. I hope you enjoy.
THANK YOU AURIA COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!

Live Coffee House Recording Using a H6

Post by hmobley » Sat Oct 19, 2013 10:44 am

This is a reharmonized variation of a classic standard. We recorded this live at a coffee house gig using a Zoom H6 and then dropped it into Auria to mix down. Not sure if the bass is too loud or not loud enough- I'm using pretty bad computer speakers to monitor.
