CPU eating up in update?

Post by BlackBox » Sat Jul 13, 2013 11:15 pm

Is it me or is the CPU eating shot up with this update? I know it probably doesn't seem like it too much to ipad 4 owners but I just add drumagog on a track and it goes from 7%-22% on my ipad 2.........Damn!

There hasn't been a CPU increase in this update - nothing was added that takes more CPU. Drumagog normally takes a lot of CPU, so that sounds normal. To reduce Drumagog's usage, try turning off Auto Align 2.0, and/or use Live Mode. Also, loading a gog file with room samples can really make the CPU usage go up.

Ok. So it is just me. It never really seemed like drumagog used too much and it wasn't letting off any when the part it was on wasn't even playing or in use......(kind of uses less when not active). With the usual strip all around it looks more normal. Sorry. I don't go finding flaws or things that change each new update unless they arise of course and as usual this update take major steps forward. I have to ask though, can we expect any new plugins with the next update possibly!? I thought I read it in a old post.

There are more plug-ins in the pipeline for sure.

I'd love a Teletronix LA-2A.

It's not up to us. If you like a plug-in, please contact the developer and ask them to make an Auria version ;)
