I know iit's a crazy question, but is the audio interface, if connected, used when mixing down a song? From all I've read, and there is not much out that one it which might mean it's a really dumb question for sure, the mixdown is handled in the CPU of iPad in our case. So if I'm right, I can record tracks in my "studio" downstairs and come upstairs and pretend to be watching the wife's favorite show but really be mixing down a song.
If it does make a difference than it seems logical the better the interface the better the mixdown.
Crazy question?
Is interface used when mixing down?
Is interface used when mixing down?

Re: Is interface used when mixing down?
The audio interface does not affect the mixdown process in Auria--proceed to mixdown while "watching" TV.

Good to know... the wife will be happy, I guess, to see me more. Prop me up and spend some quality time with me. Seriously, thanks Chris. I thought that was the case but it's good to know "officially".
