Hopefully a simple query, is it possible to get a 4 channel output, with 4 independent channels using 2 channels of a USB interface and the L & R on the headphone output?
Cheers
4 Channel output with 2 channel USB interface?
Re: 4 Channel output with 2 channel USB interface?
Yes, this is definitely possible. You can assign each subgroup, aux send and the main LR bus to any USB output, plus assign the iPad headphone output independently.

Thanks, will give the app a try then, 4 channel out was something I wanted without lugging a big interface around all the time.
Re: 4 Channel output with 2 channel USB interface?
wow, I didn't expect this could work. With a Tascam iU2 (30-pin) it does not, only two output channels are available.
But good to know, I have an M-Audio FastTrack (USB) which I believe should work. Have to get a CCK and try that out some time. Would be nice to get 4 channel output.

Note, you need to have iOS 6 installed in order to use more than two channels of output.

Hi
I'm using Auria with a Focusrite 18i20 and by using the sub groups can do 8 different head phone mixes through the Focusrite, I've also used the aux sends as well if I want to use the subs for some thing else, works well until or if Focusrite make a iPad version of mix control.
