Impluse Response Convolution Reverb for Stereo
How does IR Convolution Reverb in Auria is done to a stereo track? I guess the IR itself is stereo (i.e. two channels ) as well. Is the convolution process so called "Parallel" or "True Stereo", as mentioned in http://www.liquidsonics.com/software_re ... stereo.htm? I am looking for True Stereo mode
Re: Impluse Response Convolution Reverb for Stereo
No, Auria's convolution reverb is a normal stereo reverb. True Stereo capable reverbs double the processing power, and on an iPad, that would consume a lot of CPU. Also, you need special IR files for True Stereo. It's possible we may introduce one in the future, but the current convolution reverb is parallel stereo.

Re: Impluse Response Convolution Reverb for Stereo
Thanks for the explanation.
Does Auria have a way to swap L and R channels in a stereo track? If so, as a workaround, the True Stereo Reverb can be done using two tracks.
Of course it should be always possible by using three tracks two of which are mono and include L and R channels respectively...
How many tracks (or channels) can Auria perform the IR convolution reverb simultaneously in real-time on an iPAD 2?

There's no way to swap L and R channels at the moment. An iPad 2 can probably handle 3 or 4 instances in full CPU mode. Low CPU mode can handle more.
