AuriaLink & Video

Post by Navpack » Wed Apr 17, 2013 12:30 pm

Been experimenting with using AuriaLink to slave two iPads; one running the audio and the slave running the video full-screen. This works well, with the exception of scrub; picture will jump to the new location as I release my finger after scrub but won't slave during scrub reminding me of the 'old days' locking linear systems.

Anyone able to achieve a scrub on the slave iPad?

Regards,
phil.

Phil,

Are you talking about the new audio scrub feature (using two fingers on the timeline) while using AuriaLink?

No, just general sliding of the finger along the timeline, which scrubs the video on the master iPad but not the slave. I have to apologize and say that I didn't try the new two finger scrub. Would you anticipate that should work?

The audio scrub feature definitely won't work with AuriaLink, because it needs to slow down the audio stream, and this isn't feasible when doing it over bluetooth.

I believe we had some issues with AuriaLink following the timeline with your finger, so we disabled it.
