Hello Auria team,
First of all i have a lot of fun working with auria!
But i have a problem what made me sad today
I started up auria and it shut off direct.
Had no other apps open tried to restart ipad, app, etc nothing.
Followed up the tips in this forum saved my files with itunes to my pc.
Reinstalled auria.
Putting files back via itunes didnt work so i put them on dropbox and tried to load this way.
Now some projects lost files and others do have waveform but no sound,
And a project where some tracks have sound others are flat with no sound.
Is it possible they crushed too with the crash.
And what to do next time to save it so it keeps working after a crash.
I record playing all instruments myself so lots of time down the drain.
It were just demo's but still frustrating.
Before the crash i had a lot of warnings of too short memory.
I dont run other apps and only had used 1 send fx for reverb(ipad2) is the ipad2 too old to use auria?
Greetings Edward.
After fatal crash saved files wont play normal anymore
Re: After fatal crash saved files wont play normal anymore
Edward,
It looks like the copying of your projects is not working correctly. Dropbox is not the recommended way to copy projects to and from Auria. I assume you're on a PC, not a Mac? Here's what you need to do: zip each project, then copy the zip file using iTunes. Auria will automatically unzip the project, and you'll have all the necessary files in it.

Re: After fatal crash saved files wont play normal anymore
Hi Rim,
thanks for the quick reply.
I didn't know i had to zip the files first to put them back in itunes.
Thanks i thought i lost the projects.
Before the crash i often had the warning too short memory close background apps etc.
But before i start auria i close al apps.
And i don't use much plugins yet etc.
Wil this become possibly better after the next update or wil the ipad2 not be strong enough for working with auria.
Greetz Edward.

Zipping is not necessary in you have a mac, but PC versions of iTunes don't support copying bundles, so you need to zip them.
You shouldn't get memory warnings unless you've got background apps taking up memory, or unless the project you've got loaded uses a lot of memory. Plugins in Auria which use a lot of memory are Drumagog and Convolution Reverb.
Are you sure you are closing your background apps? It's not the same as rebooting, because rebooting won't close your background apps for you, you still need to do that separately. If you double-tap on the home button, you shouldn't see any icons there.
Make sure to close everything, including Safari , settings, etc.
iPad3 has twice the amount of memory, so upgrading will help, but I use an iPad 2 here for testing all the time, and don't have any issues with memory warnings.

Re: After fatal crash saved files wont play normal anymore
Because it happend a view times i looked at the forum for this problem.
And i close apps on the background by tapping home button two times and close every app before starting auria.
My last and biggest project i worked with 16 tracks i used 10 tracks and fx insert reverb and thats it.
I had before a project got corrupted and won't open i coppied the wav files into an other project.
But after the new installation i will keep my eye on it and hope it stays better.
Purchasing and using a plugin like overloud should be possible?

Another thing to do if you're getting memory warnings is to force-close Auria as well. To do this, tap the home button once to close the Auria window, then double-tap it and press the X on the Auria icon you see in the list.
