Where did my tracks go?
Where did my tracks go?
All of the sudden, my waveforms on the edit page disappeared. I have blocks where there are recorded tracks, but they are absent of any waveform, so I can't see the waveforms of the upcoming tracks. Help!?

Re: Where did my tracks go?
Did you accidentally move the waveform slider all the way to the left?
This causes the waveforms to disappear and not redraw saving processing.
Just double click the slider to reset to 0dB.
Hope that's what it was.

Re: Where did my tracks go?
Hi,
This has happened to me twice, both times before the slider to turn off the waveform was implemented. All of the waveforms I had disappeared, but the sound remained. Nothing would bring them back, including removing a folder (I don't remember which one) using iTunes, as Rim suggested. I ended up having to open a new project and import every track and fragment from the project with the invisible waveforms. Very time consuming, very frustrating.

Re: Where did my tracks go?
This happened to me in an earlier version of Auria, where the waveforms were just blocks, but the sound played fine. In my case, changing the zoom level brought the waveforms back. Haven't seen the issue in the latest (1.0.5) version at all though.
Re: Where did my tracks go?
this can be caused by two reasons:
1. The waveform slider is all the way to the left by mistake.
2. Somehow the overview folder got deleted or corrupted. Just go into iTunes File Sharing (or another app like iFunbox), and delete the overview folder inside your project. Auria will rebuilt the overviews (waveforms) on the next project load.
