No SoundCloud export
No SoundCloud export
There is no prompt for SoundCloud export credentials. Dropbox works, but no SoundCloud. Export to is selected in settings, but no prompt (as stated in manual) ever appears.
Re: No SoundCloud export
It's in the Mixdown box. There's a radio button for Exporting to SoundCloud. If you set this to Yes, you'll get a prompt to log into SoundCloud after Auria's done with the mixdown.

Has to be a .wav or .aif for SoundCloud?
Re: No SoundCloud export
No, I think MP3 should work fine as well. Were you having trouble with MP3?

yes. It's intermittent, too-once it doesn't ask, once it does, next time it doesn't ask.
Re: No SoundCloud export
Interesting. I'll look into this.

Re: No SoundCloud export
tried it again this morning-selected JUST SoundCloud export w/mp3 and it crashed Auria.
Re: No SoundCloud export
Strange. I just tried it here, and it doesn't crash for me. Sometimes "crashes" are really app kills from your iPad. If your iPad determines that an app is taking too much memory, it will simply shut that app down (sometimes without a warning). The mp3 conversion takes a bit of memory, depending on how long the song is. It's just a guess, but that's a possibility. Can you kill all your background apps, reboot your iPad and try that again?

Re: No SoundCloud export
killed all apps, restarted iPad, Auria only app running. When I get to the SoundCloud dialog, I hit "share" and it kills the app. Pow. Trying to send mp3. Let me try another format.
Re: No SoundCloud export
OK, that worked. I exported an AIF 16bit stereo to SoundCloud, selecting "entire song" instead of "locator range" (which I had been doing).
Re: No SoundCloud export
I just tried this here and I couldn't get it to crash. I selected:
Locator Range
MP3
128kbps
Channels: Stereo
Only Upload to SoundCloud checked
I press OK, it processes for a while, then the SoundCloud box pops up. I press Private, then Upload. I get a message that it worked.
I wonder what's different. If you can get it to happen every time, would you mind send me your project? If I can get it to crash here, I can probably fix it fast.
Thanks,
Rim

Re: No SoundCloud export
If you can make it crash this way, please put a message in the crash report and left me know when you do it, so I can examine the crash report and see what's going on. I might be able to figure it out without needing the project then.

Re: No SoundCloud export
Having this problem also and have sent through a bunch of crash reports.
Ipad3
Active soundcloud account
Mix down completes and soundcloud account details visible
As uploading app crashes
Happened with mp3 uploads (varies bit rates) and also AFF
Did mix down and upload to Dropbox with no issue.
Not a particularly big project as it is an import from a garage band project (which sounds fricking awesome when given some love in auria I might add!) transferred as 3 tracks and various effects applied - at most using 60% CPU when playing.
Great app guys - little bits to fix and it's golden.
Edit: just read your above post - track was set to public rather than private, but otherwise the same. Also just noticed that the track uploaded to Dropbox had its name altered from what I named it to "mix down.aff.mp3". Would something as simple as that make a difference when uploading to soundcloud?
