since the H4n doesn't look like it has a good future for the ipad/auria I'm looking for a inexpensive 2x2 w/midi interface...
it looks like the lexicon omega is pretty well tested, has anyone tested the lexicon lambda? (goes for $120)
or the presonus audiobox 2x2 (goes for ~$150)?
tascam us-122-mk2?
thx all for any pointers!

Why Midi? I think auria doesn't Support midi.
When you just need some standard inputs try the alesis multimix 4. It's about 80€ here in Germany.
I have it and it works great with GarageBand, I guess on auria too.

the only thing i dont like about the itrack solo is you can't really do stereo in that easily - one input is xlr balanced and the other is 1/4" unbalanced, and i'm guessing each input has a different pre attached to it.
MIDI is coming to Auria, its just a matter of time - would be nice to have the same interface do MIDI as well as audio (so you dont have to swap interfaces when its MIDI time)
lexicon lambda looks good and is at a good price point.
