Avid solo constantly gets disconnected from ipad

Is anyone else using the avid solo? I noticed that mine gets disconnectedoften. Im ot sureif it is lifting the ipad whileecordingt that causes the cable to be disconnected (is it that sensitive?) or if it really disconnects constantly. Please let me know so i can return this thing ankd have it replaced. Thanks.

I've had problems with disconnecting from my audio interface when using the 30 pin to lightning adapter. I switched to using the 30 pin to lightning cable and am having much better connectivity.

I don't know if that helps you, but thought I'd throw that out for others as well.
