Plug anolog mixer to auria

Post by Ticlef » Wed Oct 16, 2013 11:26 pm

I was just wondering if there is a way to plug a mixer into a compatible interface and be able to track audio? If so how so? I'm using the focusrite 18i6 and have a live gig coming up and again they already have the sound set up but no way to record so I wanted to possibly just plug the mixer to the Scarlett and track in auria.

Do several test runs before the gig just to make sure it's working properly. Use mic cables if you can for a better signal to noise ratio.

Be very careful about setting input levels too high. When the actual music starts, the levels go way up and also have a tendency to creep up throughout the show.
