Help with H6 Signal

Post by dwamusic » Tue Oct 08, 2013 2:00 pm

Hi,

Can someone walk through the steps of getting a signal out of the new Zoom H6 into Auria?

I have had no problems at all with my PreSonus 1818 VSL. However, I'm having a hard time getting the H6 to function. Currently, it is playing the part of merely being a speaker for whatever iPad sounds are produced, but I can't get it to take a recording input. Help please!!

Many thanks!!

- Plug the mic module XY or MS mic module in.
- Turn Zoom H6 on
- Press L-R to record enable
- Adjust some gain on mic module..set to 7...
- Press menu
- Navigate to usb menu and press the navigate button once again.
- Navigate to Audio Interface and press the navigate button once again to select.
- Set to Stereo mix (only 16bit/44.1kHz in-out) or multitrack (24 bit/96 Khz - 6 track) We do prefer multitrack now!
- Select Multitrack and then select PC/MAC using Battery Power.
This is a must for iPad and CCK to work properly.
Zoom Ready to rock!

- Record some noises.
