Focusrite itrack vs. Other Options

I'm new to ipad recording. I have Auria on my ipad 4 and have an itrack as my interface. I need more input options, can anyone tell me if other focusrite usb interfaces will work, itrack has the link cable how would I connect a bigger interface to my Ipad?
