Mixdown m4a error after IOS11 update

Post by donnyboyTHEROCKER » Mon Nov 27, 2017 5:33 pm

Hi! Usually I can select Mixdown, email an m4a to myself, download to my phone, and then play through a Sonos system. As of this post, m4a's created after updating to the IOS11 throw a 'not coded correctly' error in the Sonos player. Any m4a files created before the update successfully play in Sonos but any created after the update do not. All the m4a files created before or after can play in a stand alone player in my phone just not in the Sonos player.

Not sure if these are helpful but I'm including them just-in-case:

I figure this might resolve itself as the IOS11 update matures but I thought it would be worth it to post. Please let me know if it might be on Sonos to account for the change. Thanks! -DonM

Interesting, thanks for letting me know. This does indeed sound like an iOS issue. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it gets solved anywhere.

Thanks,
Rim
