Tempo track doubles speed in 7/8 time signature

Hello, love the app. I am noticing when I have a new song file and start the time signature at 7/8 time, 140 bpm and have the metronome active in playback the metronome works as expected. However when I activate the tempo track and begin playback the metronome plays at double the speed and continues at that speed through additional time signature changes. It will reduce in speed when I turn off the tempo track and begin playback from the beginning again. It does not do this with 4/4 time and I have not tried other two combinations.
