Hi Rim,
I already reported the appearance of extra notes after splitting a Midi region here
http://auriaapp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=13592
Back then I thought it was a problem of one note internally being just a little bit too long so that it was doubled in the second region. But after doing some more testing I think there is a more fundamental problem with Midi splitting.
Please try the following:
1. Add 4 quarter notes to a newly added Midi track e.g. C,D,E,F.
2. Place the timeline to 1.3 and split into two regions -> everything is still fine
3. Change BPM from 120 to 100 -> second note is now longer than a quarter note, third and forth notes are shifted
4. Change BPM from 100 to 80 -> doubling of notes and and increase of region lengths.
5. Press Undo until there is no more splitting.
6. Press Redo -> now there are only three notes in total in both regions.
7. Press Redo again -> lengths of both regions increase, still three notes.
8. Press Redo again -> same as in No. 4
Best regards

One more observation:
Even without splitting the length of a MIDI region alters when changing the BPM setting.
Best regards
P.S.: Thanks again for all your hard work and dedication!

Thanks, beta has found the same issues with splitting. I haven't touched this yet, but hopefully will get to it in 2.03 or 2.04. I still have some critical fixes to address first.
