"Spectrum Grab" in Fabfilter Q2 does not work

Post by Soundseeker » Tue Dec 15, 2015 10:54 am

I've recently upgraded Fabfilter Q to Q2 and the function "Spectrum Grab" does not seem to work. The manual says, it can be activated by hoovering over the frequency-band, but mouse-hoovering is not possible on touch-devices. I found no alternative way, to activate this function.

I've asked FabFilter about this, and am waiting for their response.

Currently Spectrum Grab is not supported in the Auria version of Pro-Q 2. We'll look into it and try to find a way to engage it without requiring mouse hover.

Great. Long tap/hold engages spectrum grab now (turns purple), but disappeares as soon as you let go. Couldn't you just keep it engaged when letting go of the screen until a user grabs a part of the spectrum and/or just taps somewhere else to disengage the grab mode (the purple stuff)? Maybe it's a lot more complicated then that, I'm not a dev so please don't hurt me :)
