Import file conversion bug

Post by pegleg85 » Thu Dec 10, 2015 8:51 am

I did this pre today's update so forgive me if you have fixed this.

I purchased a pack of drum loops from Looploft which are stored in aiff. They are 24/48 resolution.

I imported them into a 16/44 project. Auria converted the file to 16/44 but after the conversion the files were no longer 100 bpm.

Workaround: imported into Audioshare, converted and then imported to Auria. That worked.

current ios, ipad 4.

If they were MP3 files, this can happen, since Auria only uses sample rate conversion of non-compressed files. So it's best to import WAV or AIFF files into Auria if they're at a sample rate different than the project's sample rate.
