Volcano 2's Arp!

Post by King » Thu Mar 12, 2015 1:17 pm

Guys,

If I select Vocano 2's Arp & Sequecne, Arpeggio 6, I just get a looped sound!
This is without pressing play??

Anyone else?

Empty project, one track, one insert. (Volcano2)

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Any experts around to check the pre-set?

Also Arpeggio 4 does it too.
I have to leave it for a few of seconds before it starts...

Cheers!

I can confirm that "Arpeggio 6" does start ticking like a metronome after a few seconds. "Arpeggio 4" is OK though. Try modifying some parameters slightly (specifically, lower Filter 1's 'Peak' a tad) - the ticking will stop

Hey @Washboy, cheers for confirming that I'm not the only one experiencing this. :-)

Good suggestion parameter tweeking, but I think the preset/s should be addressed directly by FF, I'll get on to them. They should be useable without a tweek.. :) (Unless it's supposed to auto-start?) ... 'Arpeggio 4' will take twice as long before it starts!
Had an issue a while ago with some of the presets in the Turnado plug-in, (they were fine in the stand-alone). Got intouch with Sugar Bytes, and now they are all fine!

I'm trying to save all my issues (not that many) until after the Pro update, to see what it fixes!
Also I'm giving the guys (WML) time to do their thing.

Cheers again!

Sounds like the self oscillatoring noise has gone! Still see the meters bouncing a tiny bit, but no sound.

Good stuff Auria Pro!

Well the original issue is fine. But now said presets, when played and stopped just continue to loop a part of the processed audio. Even after pressing stop on the APs transport.

Still investigating...

I guess I'll have to get on to FF to dial down those resonance peaks on number 1

Nothing major.. ;)

FabFilter got back to me, and said if you experience self-oscillation, there's an option to get rid of it: "Auto-Mute Self Osc". Just enable that in the bottom bar.

Nice one!

Yeah I tried that approach before but it didn't help it.

However, I just loaded a new instance of V2 and tried again and it works. Meaning the button does its job. :-) Hope it continues to!

Those 2 presets should be set like that (or similar).

If the button stops working ill let you know. I'll check it periodically.

Cheers ;)

Auria Pro is Magical!
