Audiobus Problem

Post by Shay » Wed Oct 23, 2013 4:09 am

Hi Rim,

I noticed a bug in the new version regarding Audiobus and Audiobus monitoring, which I don't know if existed in the previous versions.

I have a project where Auria and a Synth App are used inside Audiobus.
I closed all of them and later reopened for editing.
The synth app didn't have a sound and the yellow "Audiobus" text was missing from Auria. The settings showed Audiobus and Audiobus monitoring is on.
Switching both of them Off and On caused the yellow "Audiobus" text to appear and the Synth sound came back.

I have IPad16gb, IOS7.0.2 , Latest Auria version.

Thanks,
Shay

The Audiobus text only appears in the mixer screen, not the editor screen. If this happen repeatedly, let me know how to reproduce it and I'll have a look.

Thanks,
Rim

Here is a how to list:

1. Open Audiobus
2. Select iSEM as input
3. Select Auria as output
4. Open iSEM
5. Open Auria
6. Set Auria to Audiobus mode...
7. Eject both apps and close all three of them.
8. Do 1-5 again and go to iSEM.
iSEM won't have sound.

Switch to Auria and turn both AudioBus option in settings-form off and on.
iSEM sound will return.

Thanks. After turning on or off Audiobus mode in Auria's settings, it's important to kill all the apps including Auria and Audiobus. This is because turning on or off this mode changes the buffer size, and a lot of other audio apps don't like the buffer size changing while they're running.
