m4a

Post by thebioguy » Tue Oct 22, 2013 2:51 pm

I have an m4a (just for quick testing) that imported fine in the previous version. Now it just hangs, then return exits. I tried making a new m4a (again for quick testing), it hangs also.

Update.

if I try to import from the INBOX folder, it hangs and exits.
If I try to import from the ROOT folder, it works.

Please excuse me chiming in but, yes, what is the "Inbox" folder, Rim? It does exist but what's it's purpose?

Auria doesn't have an Inbox folder. Where are you seeing this?

I've figured out the origin of the "Inbox" folder. It's created (I think) by AudioShare, which uses it as the repository of files exported to Auria with 'Open In...". However, files imported from AudioShare (initiated by Auria) are placed in the root. Perhaps the "Inbox" folder should be named "AudioShare".

OK, yes. This appears to be an auto generated folder. I'll look into why an m4a would not import correctly from that folder.

Thanks,
Rim
