Auria crashing on 16Gb iPad 1 OS version 5.1.1.

I'm trying to get this working on 16Gb iPad 1 OS version 5.1.1.

Settings reports I've got 2Gb free.

When I first started the app. It tried to unpack the demo stuff etc... and crashed.

Now when I start it up. It comes up with a dialogue, "do I want to send a crash report" but crashes before I can hit a button.

I've tried deleting and redownloading the app. The issue stays the same.
I've tried deleting all running apps (double tap etc...) and rebooting so the iPad is as memory clean as possible. The issue stays the same.

I've run out of ideas. Please help.

Hi there, try updating your iOS software, someone else on the forum seemed to be having a similar issue and I think updating his software solved it.

Same here, unable to start Auria after updating. I've tried several times deleting the app, restarting the iPad, then installing, then restarting again... with no luck. Auria crashes as soon as the initialization progress bar shows up.

iPad 2 16GB, iOS 5.1.1

I don't want to upgrade to iOS 6 yet. I've jailbroken my iPad just for one app I fully depend on: iFile. This app allows me to overcome my iPad 16GB storage limitation, symlinking my external 32GB SD card via the CCK to any audio app (sample library, recordings...).

I've 212 apps installed on my iPad. Most of them are audio-related apps. None of them crashes on my jailbroken iPad. So I wouldn't think it's a jailbreak related thing.

Any help/update would be much appreciated.

IOS 5.1.1 is the latest and last version for iPad1. iPad1 is not upgradable to IOS 6.

Is your iPad jailbroken? I'm trying to determine if it is a jailbreak-related issue or it is inherent to iOS 5.1.1.

It looks like we have an issue with iOS 5.x in the latest Auria version. We'll be fixing this for Auria 1.11, but in the mean time we recommend upgrading to iOS6 if you can. Sorry for the trouble!

Yes it is but I only use it to allow my external GPS to connect to my bought apps.

It looks like we have an issue with iOS 5.x in the latest Auria version. We'll be fixing this for Auria 1.11, but in the mean time we recommend upgrading to iOS6 if you can. Sorry for the trouble!

I don't know the timeline yet, as we're still learning if there are any other issues to fix in 1.10.

Same here, just upgraded to 1.10 on an iPad 1 32 gig, with over 12 gig of free space. 1.09 or the last version worked flawlessly. Now with 1.10 it crashes every time within 1-4 seconds.

I have tried all the usual tricks. Free ram, restart iPad with no luck.

No, it wasn't. That's my fault, because none of the beta testers have ipad 1s, and I simply forgot to test it on the iPad 1 here.
