I'd love to replicate this here, as I've never had a single crash with the timestretching function. Is it only on mono or stereo tracks? What's the sample rate? Is the original file a wav or aif file?

Thanks,
Rim

Dave,

Thanks for the project, but it doesn't crash for me. I use the same timestretch settings (they were already saved in your project), but it works fine every time (tried 10 times so far). Are you running low on disk space? I tried this on an iPad 4 and an iPad 2. Are you running Audiobus in the background?

No crashes here, even with Audiobus in the background. Is it only with a certain app in Audiobus?

Then it's most likely an out of memory crash. These are not really crashes, but forced shutdowns. iOS will force an app closed if it uses too much memory. There's no way around this, other than to use less memory intensive apps. Timestretch uses some memory, and that probably put it over the edge.
