Auria just reinstalled twice for me. What is going on?

Post by KeniPad » Wed Mar 13, 2013 1:01 am

Hello,

A weird thing just happened. Auria just reinstalled itself twice on my iPad. Why would this happen all of a sudden? It did keep my purchases, but I restored them anyway, thinking that this would be a safety precaution. As I type this, the second reinstall is occurring. I don't want a third one. Please advise. Maybe I should delete the app and reload it again? Thank you. Oh, and I do love the program.

Here is an update. It is reinstalling for the third time. Now I am perplexed. I have deleted it and I am now reloading it from the App Store. Please get back to me on this.

It's a bug thats been solved in the next version. Something with Auria not having enough RAM, or getting disrupted, at startup. Anyway, it should go away in the upcoming version.

Okay, then. This bug must take a bit of time to show up because it just happened. Anyway, I reinstalled from the App Store and the problem went away so far. Any idea when 1.0.7 is going to appear? I did lose a bit of work with this occurring. Nothing major, but still....
Thank you for getting back to me.

1.07 is finished and in testing now. I should have it submitted to Apple for review in a couple of days.

Your projects are not erased, unless you deleted Auria. Open Auria and let the install process complete. Or connect your iPad to your computer and copy over your projects to the computer.

This has been discussed many times on this forum, and the fix is in the next update. Until then, just allow the install to continue completely to the end (wait an extra few minutes to be sure). Your data is all safe - it's only reinstalling the demo song and the IR folders.

Everyone, just copy your files over to the computer. Reinstall a fresh copy from the App Store. That will hold you until the next update. It worked for me. Bugs do not have to be a major issue, especially since Auria is so well supported.
