select highlighted regions - 1.06

Post by mtingle » Sat Feb 16, 2013 4:20 pm

just a small note to say this feature is a real god send and for the most part works fine, but about 25% of the time it refuses to highlight the regions selected. Its a bit hit and miss as to when this happens but all you have to do is use the tool for 10 mins and you'll start to see what I mean.

Not sure if it's on your list for 1.07 so I thought i'd let you know.

n.b. yes I am covering the whole of the region. It happens accross single or multiple tracks and especially on groups of regions.

Yea it's been mentioned a few times. I think Rim was going to look at it before the 1.07 release but dont quote me on that.

Yes, this is on the list already for 1.07. The issue only happens when drawing highlights which start from left to right. Drawing the other way should work.

Not quite true. On occasion using the highlighted tool from right to left will solve the issue but more often than not this doesn't change anything and the regions cannot be selected.

Interesting... I'll look at it in more detail when I start on this item.

Thanks,
