Plugins forget parameters upon exit

Post by thebioguy » Sun Dec 23, 2012 1:04 pm

Has this been addressed?

After tweaking the parameters in Drumagog, and then exiting back to the Mix window, and then going back to the plugin, all of my tweaks are lost and I'm back to square one.

Just wondering.

This was fixed in 1.04, which has been released already. You can check your version number by going to the settings page (it's on the bottom right of the page).

OK, let me know exactly how you're doing this. Maybe it's a new bug I'm not aware of.

Here's what I do for my test:

1. Create a new project
2. On track 1, insert Drumagog on the first insert slot
3. Change the sensitivity and resolution controls to something
4. Close Drumagog
5. Reopen Drumagog - the sensitivity and resolution controls are exactly as I set them.

Aha!

If I try to re open by clicking on the plugin name, and then choosing Drumagog, everything is reset.
BUT, if I click on "e" , all of my settings stay.

Is that the trick?

Right - what you're doing is creating a new plugin. The e should be used if you just want to open the editor.

e means edit!
I thought it meant "don't touch the 'e' "

Thanks

I was just looking for the 'e' in the manual. It isn't there. So it was a timely discovery.
