Saving a project

I have multiple projects that I want to remove from my ipad for now, and work on later. What is the best format to use? Is there an advantage to saving as a .prj versus a mix? I'm new to recording and am not sure if I am losing the ability to add more to the project if I mixdown. Thanks for your help. Jim

There is dropbox
And also you can transfer them via itunes to your computer and later bring back to iPad.
Don't bother to mixdown them it's not necessary
